Profile:

Mgr. Radoslava Juhásová gratuated at the Department of Translation Studies, Faculty of Arts, CPU in Nitra in Translation studies – English Language and Culture and Spanish Language and Culture. In her Master’s thesis she analysed the specificities of translating irrealia and pseudorealia in selected works from Star Wars universe. Her doctoral thesis focuses on interpretive, transfer and professional aspects of transfering Slovak audiovisual works into other languages. She is also a freelance audiovisual translator and as a volunteer she creates translated and inclusive subtitles for the One World Film Festival. She is a member of the student civic association Sa zobuď! and the civic association DoSlov.
