Profile:
PhDr. Ľuboš Török, PhD., deals with intercultural relations in translation communication, as well as psychological and ethical issues of perception of the world and the text. In his research and theses he also focuses on the preferences of transfer practices in selected types of texts, due to the peculiarities of reception and the intention of the sender towards selected cultural communities. It is for this reason that texts containing culturemes and other culture-representing attributes are of particular interest to him. He conducts his basic research on the example of tourist texts, which, despite the boom in tourism in Slovakia, have received little attention.
