New Skills of a Contemporary Translator of Specialised Texts or What to Do when Word is not Enough
On 27th February 2024, a workshop was held at the Department of Translation Studies led by Mrs. Katarína Absolonová from the translation company ASAP-translation, entitled New Skills of a Contemporary Translator of Specialised Texts or What to Do when Word is not Enough. During the workshop, students had the opportunity to learn how to work effectively in the ABBY FineReader software and thus expand their portfolio of technical skills that nowadays belong to the required skill set of a specialised translator.
