The Professional Career of a Conference Interpreter: from the European Course in Conference Interpreting to An Interpreting Traineeship at the European Commission
On 13th November 2024, a lecture on conference interpreting entitled The Professional Career of a Conference Interpreter: from the European Course in Conference Interpreting to An Interpreting Traineeship at the European Commission was held at the Department of Translation Studies. The lecture was given by translator and freelance interpreter Lucia Čuriová. Ms. Čuriová gave students an insight not only into her beginnings as an interpreter, but also into her experience and the interpreting tips and tricks that she has gained, for example, during her interpreting traineeship at the European Commission.
