Profile:
Romana Jurigová graduated in the study programme English Language and Culture and Italian Language and Culture (aimed at preparing Translators and Interpreters) in the study field Philology at the Faculty of Arts, Comenius University in Bratislava. Since September 2023, she is a PhD student at at the Department of Translation Studies, Faculty of Arts, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. In her research she focuses on subtitling for the D/deaf and hard-of-hearing audience.
